Tips for creating your audio file so it is under 7mb file size
- Choose a lower bit rate: Encoding your audio files at a lower bit rate will reduce the file size. A common bit rate for high-quality audio is 256 kbps, but for a file size limit of 7 MB, you may want to consider using a lower bit rate, such as 128 kbps or even 96 kbps.
- Shorten the recording length: If the audio file is longer than 3-4 minutes, consider trimming it down to a shorter length to reduce the file size.
- Optimize the file format: Consider using a file format that is optimized for smaller file sizes, such as MP3 or AAC.
By following these guidelines, you can help ensure that the audio files submitted are of an appropriate size and quality. If your audio file is larger just ask for my email and you can email me a copy.
