How to Collect Voice Notes from Your Listeners
There are a few different ways you can allow your podcast listeners to send you voice notes:
- Record and send via email: You can ask your listeners to record their voice notes on their phone or computer and then email the audio file to you.
- Use a third-party app: There are several apps that allow people to record and send voice messages, such as Anchor, SpeakPipe, or VoiceBunny. You can include a link to one of these apps in your show notes or promote it on your social media accounts.
- Utilize social media: You can use platforms like Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook to collect voice notes from your listeners. For example, you could ask your followers to send you voice messages via direct message on Instagram.
- Set up a voicemail: You can set up a voicemail system for your podcast, either through your phone or a third-party service, and give your listeners the phone number to call and leave a message.
Regardless of the method you choose, be sure to let your listeners know how to send voice notes and how you plan to use them. This will help you get the best quality audio and ensure that you are able to incorporate your listeners’ feedback into your podcast in a meaningful way.
